On behalf of the whole ICKE family we remember Barbara with great love and affection to a lady who epitomised the wonderful family ethic that we grew up with. As my personal godparents, Harry and Barbara were truly inspirational in their encouragement and support during my life, I’ll never forget Harry’s speech at my 21st recalling my first flight where, aged 2, I screamed at the back on the way to Jersey whilst the passengers moved nervously forward but in latter days, I’m at the front and all the passengers move nervously backwards. True genius and very apt 😃
