I met Dad back in 1981, when I started seeing Sue. He was a kind and gentle man of few words. He used to wait for Sue and I outside the pub, to save us the taxi fare home. Always ready with the one liners, the guidance and the home made wine. A fantastic Grandad to both Amy and Ben
A truly great man who I will miss.

Whether it was Gman singing “why are we waiting” at the black tiles pub or him cleaning bananas, every time I saw him I couldn’t help but smile. No matter what he had going on he always brought a smile to everyone’s face with his witty comments.
He will be missed dearly by a whole friendship group, but he will never be forgotten.

A wonderful loving and kind Uncle who always loved to boogie. From when we were young watching Top of The Pops , to dancing the night away at Amy and Tom's wedding. Eric you will be missed by the whole family.. reunited now with Shirley and David . Sleep tight x
