In loving memory of Robert Charles Witherden who sadly passed away on 22nd October 2020, aged 93 years.
Bob lived and/or worked in and around Upchurch and Rainham all of his life, farming and producing fruit and veg that was sold in his farm shop in Rainham High Street between 1972 and 1987 before retiring to Upchurch to continue farming. Bob worked up until about 5 years ago and has gradually passed all of his skills onto his son, David, who continues to run the farm and produce Upchurch strawberries, which we all love!
Bob was always involved with things going on in Upchurch, playing for the football team, running the Upchurch marathon, serving on the Parish Council and much more.
Family, farming and Upchurch were his life
You will be missed by us all so much!
