James 'Jim' William Norton Dove (6 Nov 1937 - 1 Oct 2020)

In tribute to my fallen brethren

On behalf of the Master and Brethren of Portco Lodge, we thank you Jim for the years of faithful service you gave as our Treasurer and for your gentle good humour, warmth, guidance and brotherly love. We shall miss you greatly but will think of you fondly as you watch over our meetings from Grand Lodge above. Yours always with fraternal love, Brethren of Portico Lodge.

I miss you so much my darling but you will always be in my heart and mind along with all our wonderful precious memories xxx

I met Jim early in 1958 when he took me under his wing as a young quantity surveyor. I have so many happy memories from those years and later but I shall always be grateful for the help and guidance he gave so generously in those early years. I will never forget you Jim. RIP
