Julia, you were such a good friend. I loved your company and I admired the way you really cared about people. You had an amazing sense of humour, second only to your sense of fairness and duty. You had some amazing stories to tell and you were a really good listener. I am so pleased I met you those 23 or so years ago when Immy and Joy were in Reception. Over the years you have time and time again enriched my life and that of my family! Thank you. Until we meet again in heaven...lots of love, Lydia xxx

You were the cousin closest to me in age, so we played together a lot when we were young. But we didn't keep up much contact as adults. So I only got glimpses of the person you became. I lost out there.
