Derek, thinking of you and your family on this sad day but also a joyous day to remember you as a knowledgeable, helpful and kind gentleman. I knew you for about eight years down at the caravan, they say during your life you will meet people who will leave an impression on you, Derek you were one of those people.
Derek, sleep tight my friend, I will be raising and glass or two of Malbec today.

Derek, thinking of you and your family on this sad day but also a joyous day of remembering a truly knowledgeable, helpful, kind gentleman. Only knew you for eight years down at the caravan but as people say, during your life you will meet people that will leave an impression on you, you my friend are one of those special people.
So Derek, sleep tight RIP and I will be raising a glass of Malbec today in your honour.

  • Derek - Forever smiling! Founder member of the exclusive Selsey 2 o’clock Club because he was the only one that wore a watch! The light went out for you Derek when Joan passed away but she only went ahead to make sure everything would be ready for you to join her. You will both always hold a very special place in our hearts. R.I.P. God Bless you both. 😘😘🌅

You'll be sadly missed Derek. Thanks for being involved in Martin's upbringing. We're sure your influence has contributed to what Martin is today. Thanks for all you did.

Lived respected, died regretted. I’d only know Derek since he joined Freemasonry in 2006. DEREK was an outstanding person and has left a great big hole in my life.
I’m sure that we will all miss his brightening our lives, but at least he’s back United with Joan, God bless them both!! Philip
