Toby has given us lots of good memories over the years. From visiting his and Pam’s house in Bedminster when he was installing the first Bidet I had ever seen (quite possibly the first in Bristol!) then I remember their wedding when I had my first (swiftly followed by the second and third) ever prawn cocktail(s). Toby was always on hand with photography tips that I still remember today (‘film is cheap’).

Then the family fancy dress party when he had lost loads of weight and had dressed as Bob Marley. I arrived late and the costume and make up was so good, I only realised it was Toby by process of elimination!

Toby could always be relied on for some male solidarity at the heavily female dominated Williams family do’s. Then of course there was the jodhpurs and random themed Christmas presents....

Rest in peace Toby. We will miss you.

Adrian, Jo, Lizzie and Sophie x

I worked with Toby for many years and am still shocked and saddened he is no longer with us. I remember the fun times we had at work together, and Toby helped me when i had an accident a few years back ferrying me back and forth to hospital and back to work. Toby i look back to knowing you with pride and such fun and am honoured to have known you. As fleetwood mac once sung - "you can go your own way"

We are sorry we can’t be with you today but will be thinking of you and watching the service online.

Sending lots of love

Toby met Pam and became part of our family 40 years ago. The strong silent man looked after our youngest sister and kept us all grounded. We were glad that they were a compatible and comfortable couple..with two Great Danes to complete their family. The quiet man who with the help of some rough European Cabernet Sauvignon found his voice and entertained us all with a fund of stories ..information and explanations of the world around us all.
Thank you Toby for such innovative presents as a Haynes’s Manual for the Millennium Falcon and a hand grenade. We will all miss you and so will the mare you loved to ride. We will all remember you with a smile, thank you for you friendship Toby.
Night night God Bless. See you in the morning. xx

We are deeply saddened by the news of Toby’s loss and can’t imagine what you must be feeling right now. We want you to know that we are just a phone call away if you want a chat. I feel honoured and blessed to have known Uncle Toby. He was truly a blessing, such a kind, caring, generous and gentle man and we will miss him greatly. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to you in this time of sorrow
Much love, Sue and Tony x

Toby was your best friend and together you both have many friends. He was our Brother in Law and our family friend too. He was strong and compassionate and frequently made us laugh but always in an inclusive way. A rock really. Without doubt, a guy to be honoured my lovely. Ruth x
