In loving memory of Raymond Frank Charles Anns OBE who sadly passed away on 30th September 2020, aged 82 years.
A much loved Father to Carole & Janet, Grandad to Lucy, James, Finton & Claudine and Brother to Phil. We will all miss him so much.

" A true gentleman", " you don't get many like Ray anymore" and even hospice nurses saying "I know we're not supposed to have favorites but he is ours!".....the list of lovely comments could go on and on.
We are so proud and blessed, and Dad felt he'd had a blessed life so thank you to all who knew him.

Ray was an amazing man, with a strong moral code, loyal and loving, well read and dignified and with great humility and humour...our inspiration, who has left a wonderful legacy.

If you would like to attend the funeral and wake ( both Covid secure but with limited numbers ) to pay your respects either in person or via Live Webcasting then please contact Bournes of Sittingbourne.

Ray, a true friend to Evelyn, Graham, Becca and Emily (he was her 'Uncle Ray') in all walks of life and a phenomenal champion on the Bowls mat. Most of all a gent and it was a honour to know him.

Both Cle and I are saddened by Ray’s passing but proud that we could call him a loved friend. I first met Ray through short mat bowls in the early 90’s. I was chairman of Swale S.M.B. committee, our treasurer resigned and Ray kindly volunteered to take on the post. That was the start of a lovely friendship . He was the ideal treasurer and committee member.
We spent many evenings preparing tournaments and presentation evenings together. What great days they were! Swale League couldn’t have achieved so much without Ray’s input.
He was also involved with Kent County Short Mat Bowls for a number of years.
He will be welcomed in heaven with open arms.
