In loving memory of Ken Compton who passed away peacefully after a long illness on 12th September 2020, aged 72 years.
Dearly loved husband of Anne, father of Brian, Casey, Amy and Alison.
Ex Devonshire & Dorset Regiment for 23 years and former Chairman of Staffordshire County and Burton upon Trent Royal British Legion.
There will be a private service for Ken at St. Modwen's Parish Church on Thursday 15th October followed by interment at Stapenhill Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of the passing away of Ken, his family will miss him terribly as all the knew him will.
It is very nearly 10 years since he and the RBL helped us unveil our War Memorial at Stretton, i think of him often when i look back on that day.
