An amazing dad to me xx
In loving memory of Graeme Campbell.
On Thursday September 3rd 2020, Graeme Campbell loving husband and father of two sadly died aged 51 in Derby Royal hospital.
Graeme was born in July 1969 and lived his early years in a small village called Lumphanan in Aberdeenshire. After leaving school in 1985 he headed straight for work in the Bank of Scotland in Aberdeen but worked across many branches in Aberdeenshire for many years. He became a Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland in 1995 and became a fully certified in Mortgage Advice and Practice in 2000. He stayed with The Bank of Scotland for 27 years until 2012, when he was unfortunately made redundant during the banking crisis. In 2018 he joined PD Financial Management, which he enjoyed working for as much as he had done in the Bank of Scotland.
Graeme moved down to England in late 2003 along with Fiona whom he had met in Aberdeen in 2001. On August 24th 2007 he married Fiona Blaiklock. They had a son Dylan in 2008 and daughter Erin in 2010.
Graeme had a passion for football from a very early age and played for various teams in Aberdeenshire. After he decided to stop playing football he decided to take up referring and passed his refereeing course in 2002. He really enjoyed refereeing for the Staffordshire League and was highly respected as a "great ref "by the teams he officiated for. Following in his fathers footsteps he managed his son Dylans football team. Even to the end he was wanting to go and watch Dylan and his team play. He was a quiet, kind, gentle man, everyones friend and had a great sense of humour and infectious smile.
He will be greatly missed by Fiona, Dylan and Erin and his parents Alan and Arlene and brother Bruce and other family and friends.
An amazing dad to me xx
