I have just heard about Heather’s passing and am devastated at the loss of such a lovely friend. Heather taught me the piano more than 50 years ago at Havant High School and her sparkling enthusiasm and passion for music inspired me to a life as a professional musician. My mother regarded her as the sister she had never had and their friendship lasted until Mummy’s passing in 2014. My deepest sympathies are sent to her family, especially Tony and Karina. I shall miss you very much, dearest Heather and am grateful for all the wonderful memories of our times together, Denise xx
