My dear cousin Heather, was such a warm loving lady. She would often put others first, even when she was undergoing cancer treatment. A very courageous woman who fought with her illness for so long. She will be so sadly missed. God bless, you are now in his presence.

I remember so many things about Heather, particularly as a teenager singing in Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in Rose Street Methodist church when she and her family first moved to Wokingham, also fun times when she was studying human biology to help her get into nurse training in a friend and mine's flat with the help of my flatmate! She was full of life and faith and fun. It was so good to have known her. Bless you Heather, you now know more than I do! Much love and every blessing, Denise

For my Auntie Hev, who was always unfailingly kind; always quick to smile and laugh; who always loved a good hug (and anything soft and fluffy). I am so blessed to have had such a wonderful godmother. It is hard at the moment to feel anything other than grief at the loss of such a kind, loving presence in the world, but I know that I will always be grateful to have been a part of Hev's family.

Heather was one of the first nurses I met just after starting work at the hospital in 1980, I knew so few people but she was one of those that made me feel welcome with her chatty ways and humour. Later I moved her to Ickenham with Sue Brind, they were renting a place and went to a few of their parties. On one occasion I took her for a drink, as we left the pub at the end of the evening I pointed at a door and she headed towards it while I disappeared in the other direction quickly as brooms, dustpans and other cleaning equipment fell out - it was the cleaners cupboard.....she appreciated my sense of humour. God bless you Heather, so glad I caught up with you last year.....you'll be sorely missed by many. x
