I shall always remember your smile, humour and good food. Your life evolved around Adam. You could not have been a better mother. We will all rally around to keep you in his memories. Rest in peace Susan.

Hi Sue, this news has come as such a shock. You’ve always been such a positive role model, not only for Adam but for so many others. There definitely aren’t many people in this world as selfless as you! Take care, lots of love Sam x

We have been friends for 38 years, Sue. You have created a network of friends from Wales, Oxfordshire, Manchester, Stockport and Hebburn....together and we will always keep that going and remember you. I know I have forgotten some places I should have included. You remember everything, are interested in everybody, and whatever happened, would find a way to laugh about it. Who is going to have a go at me now and remind me of all the daft things we have dome? Not donating right now, Sue. Have left me card in the house - ha, ha. All my love, the Duchess of M

Sue, we are heartbroken that you are not here to share the rest of our lives with. We have shared so many amazing times with you and Adam, and your friends and family. You are such a pleasure to be around with your stories and laughter and geordie humour. So generous and thoughtful, you made so many 'get togethers' happen..and you always turned up with the contents of your fridge, your drinks cabinet and your party games bag. We have great memories and lovely photos of many happy times, holidays, days out, parties...
You are always with us in our hearts. Our love to Adam, your lovely family and everyone whose life you have enriched. Big hugs, Rach & Marli xxx

There's so much love and sadness in peoples messages which show how much Sue was loved. I've known you since you were 16 & I was 18 and it's been a blast, can't believe we'll never see you smiling face again or have our 30 minute catch up every time we all got together. We'll toast you tommorow as we always had a drink or two.
Till we meet again Sue. Xxx

I still can’t quite believe what’s happened.
My condolences and thoughts are with Adam and Sue’s family and friends.
I’ve never met anyone so selfless and generous, in the face of adversity she always managed to smile and pull through. She had a great spirit of adventure and determination, qualities and life lessons I know she has passed on to Adam.
Blessed to have known her, I shall miss her laughter, chats and friendship.

  • Hi Izzy, I'm not sure if you'll remember me, I'm Sue's neice Gemma. Unfortunately due to the Covid restrictions there is only enough space for immediate family in the crematorium. We really wish we could have spend the day with all of Sue's amazing friends but Government guidance doesn't allow this at this time x
