In loving memory of Stephen Homer who sadly passed away on 11th August 2020. Stephen was loved by many, his son, sisters, brothers in law, nieces and nephews and his ‘second’ family, his friends. He lived life to the full and has left all of us with so many fabulous memories. His love of football, in particular Birmingham City FC, and music, Pink Floyd, Queen, Bowie, lives on with us.
A practical man, he dealt with his illness with great stoicism and courage.
Steve, you’ve left a void in our hearts and we will remember you with love and pride.

Rest peacefully darling man. We love you.

I’ve posted a further donation here, £67 from the funeral service. Thanks to everyone. Stephen would be delighted that the generosity of his friends will help Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull continue to help other cancer patients ensuring they too can have the wonderful care he received.

RIP our good friend Steve. We feel privileged to have been your friend for so many years. Always the chilled out one in our gang but up for fun and a dance (and willing to look after me when I've had too many, or when Trev had enough...here steve look after her). The handbag story from Butlins always makes us laugh xxx We will miss you Steve but not forget. Love Claire (Scares), Trev & Tom Tom xxx
