In loving memory of Jean Evelyn Brookes who sadly passed away on 26th July 2020.
Jean was a lovely lady who will be remembered with love and the utmost respect by her family. She always made her family her priority and put us first, She was the best Mom we could ever have asked for and we feel incredibly privileged to have had her as our Mom.
She was a kind, caring lady and a pillar of strength to all of her children throughout their lives. She was very proud of all her children and loved her grandchildren dearly.
Mom will be missed by many. The family will miss her love, wise counsel, sense of humour, thirst for knowledge and sense of adventure. We are going to miss hearing those stories of all the places she visited in the world. Rest in peace Mom.
Because of Covid restrictions, we are limited to 30 people in attendance at the Chapel and unfortunately, will not be able to hold a funeral reception following the service.

Jean will be very sadly missed. For the past 25 years she has been like a 2nd mom to me. For almost 15yrs a truly great Grandmother to Tom, she loved her role. Worldly wise able to give balance to our family unit especially myself and Tom.
She was always a very willing sounding board listening to other people's troubles which is a difficult skill to master.
She had an interest and passion for aurobiographies, film, history and travel. But above all loved the glamour and interige of the Hollywood stars which captured her imagination.
Vety young at heart in many ways but somewhat traditional in others but always oh so generous with her time.
It's been a pleasure to know you.
