In memory of Benjamin Paul Stringer who sadly passed away unexpectedly on 14th July 2020. Ben was an extremely bright and intelligent young man who had so much to offer. With a fabulous sense of humour and great conversation, he could always light up a room. He had a very kind and caring nature, always putting others before himself.

This world was not ready for a character like Ben and unfortunately he didn't have a chance to find peace and joy. We are asking for donations to Mind in his memory so that other young people can be given the help they need to find happiness and a place in the world.

Ben 💙💙💙
How can I celebrate the new year, feels like I’m leaving you behind in the past,
A mother’s bond will never break, my love for you will forever last.
There will be no more ‘this time last year you were here,
No more new photos and videos to share.
The immense emptiness and pain now you’re gone,
Is truly too much to bear.
You were with me as we started this year together,
We raised a glass with hugs, laughs and love.
I will end it by staring at the black sky, your star shining on me from above.
Since you’ve left me, I ask you each day for a sign.
I guess you’re not quite ready yet son and you’ll show me wen it’s time.

Our last photograph together.. Ben, I’m so proud to have been your mum, 26 years ago, your dad and I were awaiting your arrival. Your dad did you proud today... I told Dottie that you are the brightest star in the sky, shine bright forever.. mum xxx

Sincere condolences to Bens family. Ben (“ Ben 10” as I called him). A privilege to have known you, a good man, friend and neighbour who had so much more to offer life. Your presence, mannerisms, smile and laughs will be greatly missed! A true character to be remembered and never forgotten. “May you never be broken again” Rest easy Ben 10.
