Andy gave me my opportunity to join McLaren, and I've a lot of admiration for the guy, he is a great loss to many people, most of them knew him better than me, however, for me he was always a fair and frank sort of fella. He will be greatly missed.

I just want to say how much Andy will be missed! As you all know Andy was an absolute diamond geezer and a very good friend, Andy was a good listener and very helpful, always putting other people first before him self. It’s sad to hear he has gone but he will always be in my heart and thoughts. Miss you buddy xxx

Oh Andy. I've been laying awake at night, thinking about you and what I want to say, and nothing seems enough.

I wish I had so many memories of you that they were a blur. But the few that I have are so clear and they so powerfully speak to who you were.

Thank you for making me feel protected when I felt vulnerable, you were a true gentleman when I needed one.

Thank you for the time you spent reading with Blake and playing with Spencer, they both absolutely loved you.

Thank you for laughing at my ridiculous drunkenness at 9 o'clock on the morning, I wish you'd let me take that photo!

I hope you like the cupcakes Andy, I did my best for you 💙

I had the privilege and the honour of knowing and working with Andy for a couple of years at McLaren.
If my memory serves me correctly we started at McLaren at about the same time when things were really kicking off in Automotive on so many levels and through those couple of crazy years (and they were flippin crazy!) Andy was truly one of the few that you could count on and be proud to call out that you had worked with him! He really was a true gentleman, he never lost his cool, always had a smile and most importantly .......... always had time for a coffee!
In a world in so much need of real heroes and decent people we have lost a true gentleman.
Gone way too soon but will always be remembered, Rest In Peace Andy!

Andy, I literally would not be where I am today if not for the opportunities you gave me. Your guidance, advice and often straight talking management has helped to shape the manager I am today and I thank you for this. You truly were a great Manager, friend and all round gentleman and you will be sorely missed by us all. Rest in peace sir.

So sorry for your loss. I grew up with "Barbie" on Maybury Estate. I have a lot of good memories of him, especially camping in Southsea!! I don't think we have ever laughed so much as we did then! All the nights in The College and The Princess, we had such a good time and shared lots of laughs.
