Mum passed away peacefully on 11th July 2020 with Mark and Sarah present, she will be deeply missed by us both.

Mum had suffered from poor health for a number of years, due to the very rare autoimmune disease, scleroderma, but remained stoic throughout.

Regretfully due to COVID restrictions it is not possible to give Mum the funeral she had planned for herself as the service is limited to a few family members only. However, we will arrange a memorial service for Mum next year when restrictions are lifted for everyone.

We would be pleased if you would share your memories of our Mum below. If you would like to make a donation in her memory, we have chosen Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK, which is the only charity dedicated to finding treatments that provide a better quality of life for those suffering from these conditions.

Fond memories of such a gentle lady. Remembering when our late Dad (Ian Patterson) came to see Ann at the Whyteleafe home, but couldn't remember the house number and called at a neighbour's. That neighbour then phoned Ann to make sure Dad was for real. Happy days and of the long standing family connection, Dick being my Godfather. With our love Linda, Kathryn and John Patterson

In memory of Aunty Ann. I have known you all my life having lived next door since a baby. Spent many happy hours playing at the top of your garden climbing trees, making mud pies and raiding the vegetable patch with Sarah and digging holes with Mark. Always good neighbours. Happy memories and much love. Xxx

Aunty Ann bore her illnesses with a stiff upper lip and never complained. We have fond memories of Ann from Andrew's earliest years. He remembers going to her wedding in 1962.

Aunty Ann will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
