My best memories of Auntie Jean are coming down to Radcliffe, all excited to be with you all and being greeted by her, always smiling, always chuckling, at the front (back) door. The kitchen was her domain - the happy heart of the home. Such lovely memories of eating the most delicious warm bread and gooseberry crumble around your table.
I've been out of the country so much of my adult life, so it was lovely to spend time with them in our little unit when they came out to Australia and to be able to show them our lovely surroundings. I believe Stephanie may have half deafened them in the back of the car too with a very determined scream...
Most recently at Christmas, when we came over it was so lovely to have a great chat with Auntie Jean.
