In loving memory of Roger Blair Craig Tyndall who sadly passed away on 26th June 2020 following a brave fight against Leukaemia.

Roger was born in Dundee in 1945, only son of Vincent and Olive Tyndall. He was educated at Alleyn Court, Southend and Christ College, Brecon where he first found his love of rugby.

After a brief encounter with medicine he went on to become a respected Insurance Broker and enjoyed a long and successful career. After retiring in 1999, Roger continued to pursue his passions including skiing and golf, becoming Captain of his beloved club Boyce Hill in 2006.

Roger was full of fun and lived his life with energy and enthusiasm. A pleasure to know, a true gent, a giant amongst men!

Roger leaves behind his wife Irene of 54 years, his loving daughters; Samantha and Fiona; Paul, James, Harry and Jack.

Loved your dad Fiona from the moment I met him. Your parents had a great spark between them, I know he will be missed. I’m sure he will be keeping an eye on you all from afar.

We only met Roger the once, but we know what a wonderful man he was from his daughter, Fiona, who spoke so highly of the fabulous treatment he received at Barts.
