Peggy Bradford (25 May 1936 - 8 Jun 2020)

In loving memory of Peggy who sadly passed away at home on 8th June 2020, aged 84 yrs.
Loving Mum of Michael,Julia and Graham. Very much loved grandmother of Chris, Amy, Kate and Charlotte and great-grandmother to Oliver and Phoebe. Her passing has left a huge hole in our hearts.

Mum spent a happy childhood with her family and many many cousins and even though many are now all over the world, they have remained close.
She spent much of her life as a nurse at Digby hospital and in the later years, Exminster hospital, met and married the love of her life - our darling dad Robert (Bob) Valentine Bradford.

After dads early passing, she found the courage to visit family in Australia a couple of times and went on many adventures around the world with her cousin Wendy and throughout the UK with Sylv, Bert and Mary. She cared for her grandchildren and inbetween times managed to fit in her work with the Friends of Heavitree Health centre where she acted as chairman for a few years and made many, many new friends. She was a staunch supporter of the NHS and encouraged us all to join in the weekly clapping for her heroes - her many neighbours have remarked that she was always first out and checking that everyone was joining in.

We thank her many relatives, friends and neighbours for the love they have shown her over the years.

Due to limited numbers allowed at ceremonies, we are unable to invite everyone but would ask that you remember mum in your own way on Monday 29th June at 3.30 pm.
