When my mum Betty Thomas (nee Griffiths) and Dot were teenagers they were the best of friends together with mum’s cousin Enid (nee Rogers) Mum just lived down the road from Dot in Brymbo and mum would often reminisce about the great times they all had together going to dances and jiving to Glen Miller etc., especially “In the Mood”. Mum also sadly passed away in January 2020, bet they’re up there now jiving to their hearts content! Dot was a special unique lady who will be very sadly missed by many. 💕
