In loving memory of Manny Simmonds who sadly passed away on 1st June 2020 from a Pulmonary Thromboembolism.
Due to the current COVID 19 situation we have unfortunately been told that only an immediate circle of Manny's friends and family can attend the service. Whilst partly expected, this is still upsetting news as we know how many of you would like to be there for him.
Arrangements for attending the service are being made now and we will try to contact everyone who is able to attend over the coming week.
As we are unable to meet to share memories of how you met or knew Manny, we would love for you to do so here by writing messages and adding any photos. This isn't the farewell that we would have wanted for Manny, and we would love for everyone to join us later in the year/next year for a proper goodbye and memorial.
Instead of flowers we have selected donations to be made to the British Lung foundation in Manny's memory, to support their work into research and raising awareness.

2 months since you’ve gone and not a day goes by that we haven’t spoken about your infectious laugh or advice. Mum still gets a little choked when she speaks about all the memories she holds so close to her. We miss you so much Manny!

Manny was an amazing support to us. He was so flexible and reliable; he always helped us and never let us down. On top of this he was an absolute gentleman and so easy to talk with.

Will always remember our chats about family values and general chit chat on the many late occasions you came to 'kick' me out of one of my client's offices when it was time to lock and secure the premises. Thanks for being a pleasure to talk to and a kind gentleman.

Really sad to hear about Manny. Always good for a chat first thing in the morning, when opening up our offices and even last thing at night when he was trying to close up. Funny how so many people say exactly the same thing. A real top bloke, one that will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
