In loving memory of David 'Roy' Wilson who sadly passed away on 30th April 2020 Roy leaves a big hole in the family
loved by all. A very popular person in the community having run his own window cleaning business mainly working on shops along Louth high street and in the summer in schools local to Louth. Roy enjoyed his own space with a keen
interest in History and book reading. His favourite weekly rag was the Tv Times read from front to back and used every day.
Prior to retiring and after Roy also enjoyed his holidays and bus trips with his friends even touring abroad
His final year was in Maxey court where he was central to all his needs and did not like to bother family unless he felt it necessary
RIP Roy love the family xx

My dearest Uncle Roy
The father I didn’t have but would have hand picked.
The childhood memories will stay with me forever.
You were always there to cheer me on at the Pony club events and being a taxi for my friends and I at the village Disco.
We are currently traveling back to London after 2 wonderful days in the country with my wonderful friend Melaine who hosted 3 soon to be 4 generations. Sorry we were missing from your life in recent years.
We loved you so so much and the values you instilled in me I passed onto Britney and Cameron.
Until the next time
My beautiful statue will be treasured.

Dear Uncle Roy,
Thank you for being such a lovely Uncle. I have fond memories of you at Christmas visiting, and always appreciated the book tokens. As a Mum now I can see what a lovely gift that is, to encourage a younger person to enjoy reading. You’ve always been very kind and gentle and there for me; on my Wedding Day and supporting Matthew’s family when they had difficult times with poorly family members.
I know Mr Chips , especially Shelly and John appreciated your hard work and that lovely smiley face.
May you rest in peace with those who have passed before you; Grandmar and Aunty Betty.
I’ll light a candle for you today and give thanks .
Lots of love Selina, Matthew and Leon xxxxx

So sorry you have passed away Roy. We had more time together in the last few months then perhaps we had for a while. I will miss you
It is a shame you did not have more time in your new flat as it was so near town and suited all your needs. .
you are in my thoughts

Dearest Uncle Roy, you we're always smiling and in return it made other people smile. It was heartbreaking for the family to see you deteriorate so rapidly but it brings some comfort knowing your spent hours final year in a wonderful new home and had support and care from your immediate family and friends. A huge thank you to Mandy for looking after your well-being these past few months and caring for you as if you were family and to Mags who is a true hero. Anna and I will not be able to attend your funeral due to only 10 people being able to attend, but we will be thinking of you. Like my Dad in his message, we will miss you Christmas Day as will the rest of your family. Christmas Day quiz just won't be the same without your participance.

When the government law has been relaxed we will hold a belated wake for you and give you the real send off you deserve with your local friends and family.

We hope you are now at peace uncle Roy and reunited with Grandma Betty and Nana Wilson xx

Love Kate and Anna xx

This photograph makes me smile as you was the only person at Uncle Pete and Auntie Ena's party that Beatrice smiled for . Her big blue eyes was fixed on you all afternoon xxx
