Raymond Heard (2 Sep 1936 - 22 May 2020)

In loving memory of Raymond Heard who sadly passed away on 22nd May 2020. A loving father and grandfather who passed away after a short illness. Known by many as the life and soul of the party, although his health diminished this in recent years. Originally from Suffolk, but after a spell at sea with the Merchant Navy and the New Zealand Shipping Company he then worked for Royal Mail for many years working his way up from postie to delivery area manager at the time of retirement in 1996. As well as spending his early life in Suffolk he also lived in Newport, South Wales and then retired to Spain and Blackheath in South East London. He then spent a short time in Tonbridge before moving to North Devon to be close to his daughter in his final years.
