I have wonderful childhood memories of Janet, friends’s mums were always the best and treasured!

In memory of such a thoughtful and generous woman, who we always called our Aunt, because for my parents you were like family. When they moved far from home to The Midlands , your friendship helped them see how Birmingham, and later Whittington, could be a new home for them. You will be much missed.

In memory of Janet- the most generous and thoughtful Aunt -who, despite not being related, we always thought of as family. As my parents did not come from The Midlands, having you as a friend was vital to making Birmingham seem like home. You will be very much missed.
