Carl was one of the loveliest people we have ever met, a great friend, an intellectual, a wit and real gentleman!

Carl was a true gentleman, a life long friend to my family and I am truly privileged to have known him - rest in peace

I remember is long jokes, a happy and friendly guy and a pleasure to have known him. RIP.

Such a lovely man with a big smile and an even bigger heart. Have some fond memories of having cuppas and chats with Carl and June and have always been in awe of the love they shared. So sadden to hear the news and my love goes out to everyone, who will grieve this great loss.
