In loving memory of Roger Brian Smith who sadly passed away on 18th April 2020, aged 76 years.

A very sad sad time, we are unable to have the send off that I would like due to the current Corona Virus circumstances. Dad had his challenges in life but he was a good, kind and generous man with the best intentions coming from his heart. One of his most used sayings was "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". A lesson I have learned from Dad that actions speak louder than words.

Dad was a big character with a big heart. He was loving and always wanting to be encouraging. His love of music was clear from my early years. He was a great singer with a lovely voice.

I would describe Dad as a "free spirit" a unique character full of personality and charm and humility until the very end.

One thing for sure he has left an unfillable hole in mine and my husband Phil's lives. We loved him unconditionally and our lives will never be the same again.

Despite all the challenges thrown at us all I will always feel priviledged to have had a Dad like mine. I am proud to say he was my Dad and I hope I can keep his memory alive, without knowing it my Dad has taught me much about life.

I thank you Dad for Loving me and I will always Love you with All my heart.

If anyone would like to make a donation in Rogers memory please donate to Capt Toms' NHS fund. Thank you

I'm so glad we got to have the hugs 3 years ago Grandad Roge and I will treasure those and my childhood memories of coming to your house when I was little with Sam and us playing out the front!
It was too early for you to be taken from us and you will be missed very much.
Sleep tight and I'll be sure to look out for the brightest star!
Lots of Love Leyla xxx

Just like in these photos, thatโ€™s how I will remember you, happy, laughing and always smiling. RIP Dear Roger.

Thoughts and prayers to family.

To Lawrence also and in particular, to Tracy and Phil. No daughter could have given more than you did Tracy. Your love and devotion was the best and you were very loved. May you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared together over the years.

All my love xxx

We all make choices in life, some of us choose the right path and some of us the wrong. Whoโ€™s to judge ??
You were my Dad and if it werenโ€™t for you I wouldnโ€™t have my Leyla and Sam.

We all have our own ideals and either stick to them or not.

You were my Dad and I am your Son x

Hope they have a good ole sing song wherever you are Dad.

My Dad the first Man I ever loved. He held my hand as a child, walked me through the good times and when things got rough, and I was weak he would pick me with a smile on his face and carry me through. Even if he was hurting himself.

Strong, courageous, caring, loving, thoughtful, silly, funny, intelligent, handsome, healthy, not forgetting accident prone.... Those poor little toes of his took a battering most days.
But most of all he was my Gladiator.

You gave me more in life and taught me more than I realised if I'm honest. I'm so sorry for my mistakes I've made over the last 8 years. I can never put that right now.
But I Love You Dad Always have Always Will.

Always in my Thoughts. Loved and Missed More Than You Will Ever Know.

Na Night Dad
Sleep Tight
Rest in Peace
