Roger Brian Smith (19 May 1943 - 18 Apr 2020)

I wish I got to see more of you , I know I did when I was younger but I wish you was there for all the important things in life or even just the little things I wish I could’ve been with you through yours I love you grandad x

Roger was such a lovely man, like a Dad to me for many years, my heart goes out to you all! I’ll never forget tea and biscuits for breakfast nearly every weekend when Ann had me stay over.

Such an honour to have known you, sleep well 💕

Glad we got to see you and talk about how Me and Leyla used to run up the road into your arms. Memories will always be treasured.

I'm so glad we got to have the hugs 3 years ago Grandad Roge and I will treasure those and my childhood memories of coming to your house when I was little with Sam and us playing out the front!
It was too early for you to be taken from us and you will be missed very much.

No not like that you do it like this southpaw son you will never miss. Left hand right hand or on your toes,it’s street life son that’s the way it go’s. Eastwood’s Westwood’s he knew them all, he was a man that always stood tall. Honour and pride that’s the way he was , it’s that lesson from you I’ve not forgot . You was such a big part of my life through my teen years, always treated me like your own, on my sleep overs with Ann, you always made us laugh, even though we was loud when messing around. You had such big heart. Your be sadly missed Roger. ❤️ Dawn xx

My Dad the first Man I ever loved. He held my hand as a child, walked me through the good times and when things got rough, and I was weak he would pick me with a smile on his face and carry me through. Even if he was hurting himself.

Strong, courageous, caring, loving, thoughtful, silly, funny, intelligent, handsome, healthy, not forgetting accident prone.... Those poor little toes of his took a battering most days.
But most of all he was my Gladiator.

You gave me more in life and taught me more than I realised if I'm honest. I'm so sorry for my mistakes I've made over the last 8 years. I can never put that right now.
But I Love You Dad Always have Always Will.

Always in my Thoughts. Loved and Missed More Than You Will Ever Know.
