I would like to offer all my sympathy to all of Dr Khatib’s family. He was an amazing Doctor who always had time for you and took the time to really listen. He helped me help my daughter who suffered with illnesses and through her teenage years anxiety depression and Chronic Fatigue. He was so supportive and understanding to both of us. He later went on to diagnose my husband with Sarcoidosis. The last time I saw him he passed me in the corridor at the hospital saying that although he would love to talk he was late meeting friends for lunch but gave me his usual smile and a wave.

Just heard the news of Dr Khatib sad passing. My sympathy to all his family. He was my Doctor from the time I was conceived till his retirement. He saw me through many many illnesses and my rocky teenage years (anxiety, depression and Chronic fatigue) helping me and my family figure out what was wrong with me and always there for me to see and help me get help when needed. I wish he had seen me now grown with a husband and child. Thank you as a family for allowing us your amazing father to be there for me and countless others. He will never be forgotten and is thought of with much love.

  • Dr Khatib was my family doctor since I was born 1974 since he left Burton Road. Amazing doctor. He always said to me I known you since you was this big. Lovely man and a brilliant Doctor. May you and your good lady rest in peace. Lots of love to his family. From Lee Korver.
