I will miss my friend and band mate. We wrote some great songs together and had some amazing gigs. I will treasure the times we spent together. And his memory will live on, in the songs we recorded. RIP Greig. From your moon man

Greig and I had (what I thought was) a hilarious relationship- which usually involved me hiding his coffee cup or repeatedly stealing his hat- and Grieg never once complained. All he ever did was sit and smile warmly at me with his big, friendly grin. He had a wicked sense of humour- although I think that some of the examples are a little too out there for now!

He had the patience of a Saint- and lord knows that I can try a persons patience! Grieg was never in a rush to do anything (apart from finishing time and then he would be out the door faster than Usain Bolt).

Grieg supported me through some personal issues and could empathise with me about just how I was feeling. He was always kind enough to ask me how I had gotten on after every therapy session, every bad day and every troubling thought. He greeted me with a hug every time he saw me, and that would make the start of my day just a little better. Greig had the intuition to know when something was wrong, and I can’t begin to explain just how important and comforting that was for me.

Greig was always a positive presence around the office. Even if you weren’t talking to him, you knew he was there and his absence was always felt when he wasn’t. Greig’s love of music also helped define him. We shared a mutual love of Eagles of Death Metal, however my taste in pop music probably wasn’t as well received!

It’s very difficult to put into words just how much he meant to me. these examples are simply the tip of the iceberg. I think all I can do is sign off by saying that I love you, miss you and will always be thankful for the impact you have made on my life.

Love, Megan x
