On 16th April 2020, as a result of the Corona Virus, aged 48 years, Geoff, deeply loved husband of Ruth, dear and loving dad of Sean, Jessica and Daniel, beloved son, son in law, brother, brother in law, uncle, nephew and friend to many.
Due to the current guidelines this will be a private family farewell. Those wishing to pay their respects may gather at Geoff’s home in Shaw Cross to line the street on Saturday 2nd May 2020 at 12.15pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to ICU, critical care unit, Pinderfields

Today we said our last goodbyes to you, it breaks my heart knowing you’re not here in person with us any more but I know you’ll be looking down on us and you will be in my heart forever. Words cannot easily express how you are going to be missed by all your family & friends. It is so cruel that you have been taken away too soon, but happy memories of you will live on with Ruth, Sean, Jessica & Daniel. You are gone but we will all be marching on together in your memory on Saturday.

You will be up there in your Leeds united top watching over your loved ones. You fought until the end, the world is going to miss out on a lovely funny man, but heaven gained so much more. Love to Ruth and all geoffs family. We will see you off in style mate once we are able to. 💙💛💙💛

Geoffrey was a good man, a friend to everyone he knew.
My father and Geoff were inseparable on the school playground, This stuck with them till present day, It will stay with them for the decades to come.
Geoff wasn't just a friend to my father, They were practically brothers.
Geoff would help my father and my father to Geoff,
He had a large heart, Fully of Happiness i dont remember a day when Geoffrey was upset

Geoff worked fo my dad for quite a few years in the early 2000's.He was a hard working,decent and honest lad taken far too soon. Thinking of Ruth and all the family xx
