Rest in Peace Mr White. I have memories of you sharing advice when we were youngsters hanging around with Edgar. Always calm, always thoughtful and always measured. I hope we learnt from your experience. My condolences to the whole family.

Precious Memories Oh How They Linger
I met Uncle Clinton some years ago while he came to visit Aunt Inez in Jamaica. He was so optimistic and you want to just be where is was. He was always willing to listen but he was also an excellent advisor and jack of all trade. During his visit we spent some time relating to life after which we kept contacts while he went back home securing another HOPING TO SEE YOU AGAIN,
which again became a reality. Sincere condolences to the all, especially his immediate family . May you continue to find strength in this time of loss.
Love you Uncle
Love to all

Like my sister Carol had eloquently written. Uncle Clinton, you was a man of deep love for his family, a great educator and a man who made his family and friends laugh with his deep chuckle. You will be missed, however I’m sure you will sitting with aunt Myrtle and the rest of your family and friends - sharing great times.

Uncle Clinton I’m so sorry we were not able to attend your funeral Because of the pandemic. As a child my siblings and I would stay at your home every summer. I never forget the way you treated us. You were kind, fair, loving and sensitive to our
needs. Your always found time for us. Teaching us with your sharp mind. Driving us around and educating us of the history of London and places to visit. You were firm but gentle at the same time if we did something wrong you never raised you voice, but we always know if you were upset.
Uncle Clinton, I want to say Thank You for being a positive black male rule model in my life. The way you treated your wife my mother sister Auntie Myrtle was beautiful. Everyone could see she was the apple of you eye. The true love of your life. I salute you Uncle Clinton you were a beautiful husband, an amazing father and a fabulous human being. You definitely have a seat in heaven with your wife and my parents and the rest of our good ancestors.Love you forever and will never stop talking and reminiscing on the precious times we shared. Rest In Peace my dear Uncle Clinton ❤️🙏🏾🌹

My heartfelt sympathies to the entire family. I have never met my uncle but heard lots about him from my mom, Evelyn, uncle's older sister who sadly passed in February. I have also heard a lot from my brother, Bongo, who described Uncle a gentle, kind and caring soul. Those are the very same adjectives I use to describe my mom. And by the way, they bear a striking resemblance of each other. May you cherish the legacy he's left behind. Mom and Uncle are together now, reminiscing on the good old days in Portland.

It's hard to say goodbye, I know! But please take comfort in knowing that he's in a much better place. May his soul rest in peace!

With love to the family,
Mauline (Polly)
