‘Your simply the best, better than all the rest’. Miss you Al, I wish we would have had more time together to make some more brilliant memories, but I will cherish the memories we did make forever. I am just glad we crossed paths when we did. Keep singing and Dancing Al. Goodnight Godbless xx

I’m heartbroken you were my mentor in work but more importantly you were my mate. You supported and looked after me more than anyone when I had to step up and take the reigns always there with advice or just making me laugh. I love that you took our Andrew under your wing and always looked after him he truly loved you.
Leisure will never be the same without you, sleep well my mate you and me dad have a good drink wherever you both are xxxx

From the early days at the footy with St. Benets, all those games of pool in the Bootle club. Helping me out when I was stuck for a job, then taking me to hospital when I got injured on that said job. You always had time for me and made time to see how I was doing. You were there at a time of our life when we needed people the most and that will never be forgotten. You were one of the good guys and have been a friend over the last 30 years. I will miss you so much.!
All my love to the family, everyone is in my thoughts.
Until next time.
RIP Alan

The man will be deeply missed but the legend will live forever. From your snake hips, betting tips and funny stories you will never be forgotten Big Al. I hope that you are keeping everyone entertained up there playing that harmonica :) x

Dad we loved each other unconditionally, around the world and back as we used to say. Theres no words for how heartbroken I am, but so many for me to say how lucky I am having you as my dad. We're part of you, you'll always be with us and I know you'll always be watching. As you would of said 'arrivederci'. Love you infinity, your 'creamy whirl' xxxx
