It's a terrible shock - I only came across this news by chance. Although Paul and I lost touch over 20 years ago, we used to be close friends back in the 90s, when we worked together at British Telecom. I remember going on holiday to Ibiza with him and his family, and round Ireland with him and his brother. I've thought about him many times over the years but never managed to get back in touch, aside from a brief email exchange 6 years ago.
Shocking that he has been taken from us so soon.
You were a good man, Paul, and a big influence on the young me. Sleep well.
