In loving memory of John Culver who sadly passed away on 16th March 2020.

I know that many of you would liked to have attend my Dad's funeral but sadly with what is going on the world, we are only able to have a tiny family service at the crematorium on Friday 3rd April.

Because of this we have set up an online obituary where you can pay your condolences, share memories and even photos.

We plan to hold a memorial service and celebration of his life as soon as we are able to and I will share details of this.

A few people have asked about flowers. There is an area on this page where if you like, you can make a donation. We have decided to choose Muscular Dystrophy UK as this is a charity very close to our hearts.

Best Wishes
Fiona & Family

We were all so sad to hear the news about Uncle John.

I know my dad and brother have some very funny stories they all shared together and I can remember John having Wayne in absolute fits of laughter whenever they met up.

Even though we can't be with you tomorrow we will be thinking of you. Sending lots of love. xxxx

I was absolutely devastated when I got the news about my dearest uncle, especially as was only a couple of days after my birthday. Although I haven't seen him since I was a little kid, we did share memories in conversation after this past year. I still remember the times we shared when I visited as a little one and will always cherish those memories I had of him. Love to all the family 💙💙💙

My mum and dad were very sad to hear this news. They send much love to you all.
I remember your dad well. He seemed like a giant to me as a litter girl! I remember his gentleness and patience.

JC was my crewmate for several years in the Ambulance Service. He was a total legend teaching me so much. A bigger than life personality days at work always flew by! He was the only man that I knew who went sick with dysmenorrhea! He scared the living daylights out of us by calling in sick with a subarachnoid haemorrhage, then called back a few hours later saying it was just a bad headache! That was JC always up for a laugh, but when proverbial hit the fan, it was John that you wanted by your side, cool as a cucumber. He cared so well for those that were really poorly, but didn’t suffer fools gladly, and told them so too in no uncertain terms!
I will miss him dearly xx

My strongest memory is of John taking Mark and I swimming at Leatherhead Leisure centre. He always made us laugh with his great sense of humour.
He was an amazing uncle and a great Dad to all 4 of his wonderful kids. I know he will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him, however he gave so much when he was with us.

For all the years I knew John he was always smiling and laughing. I have a lot of fond memories like when I was staying with you in Worthing and you drove me all the way home ready for your shift in the ambulance service. You were always the joker. You will be sadly missed. RIP John xxx
