In loving memory of Norma Hawkes who sadly passed away on 19th March 2020.

She was a very hard working and devoted Mum, Wife, Grandma, Mother in law, Aunt and sister to our family and will be very greatly missed.

Norma worked relentlessly to make sure her family was okay and taken care of, putting her needs last on the list of things to do.

She was very industrious in keeping every thing clean and up to date with events or news, never forgetting birthdays or anniversaries and always reminded people of them, before she sadly became ill with vascular dementia in 2017.

It may not be known by all, but Norma was also very good in short hand and a qualified typist, with an eye for detail in a wide variety of office administration roles.

Norma knew what she wanted and rarely deviated from her objective, but she loved her family with total devotion and was loved very much by them and many others who met her.

A strong charismatic lady who will never be forgotten and for ever loved ❤️Xxx

A very sad but lovely day and service for Norma my mum, it was such a heart breaking surprise to see all the Fridhem Rest Home staff outside to say goodbye to her. They also delivered some memorable photos to us, it brought tears of happiness to all brightening up our sad day. I will cherish the photos for ever and will post them for all the family to see. We were particularly happy to hear that the family could view the service on webex, the sun shined very brightly and the streets cleared for her day, we all did her proud and I know she would have loved it all, RIP mum forever in our thoughts and hearts with lots of love ❤️💕xxx
