In loving memory of Brian Goodale, who sadly passed away on 6th March 2020 after a very unexpected and hard-fought 6 month battle with cancer.
After being diagnosed, Brian spent a short time in Kings Lynn hospital before transferring to Holbeach hospital for the last 5 months of his life.
Despite his illness, Brian kept his usual strong-willed personality (he even learnt how to use an MP3 player!) and enjoyed daily visits from his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Unfortunately he was unable to have any treatment for his condition, and so was made as comfortable as possible in his last months by the staff at Holbeach hospital. The constant care and attention paid to Brian is greatly appreciated by his close family.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Brian’s name to Holbeach hospital. Alternatively, donations will be kindly accepted at Brian’s funeral and will be passed on to Holbeach hospital.

Even though I have to work tomrrow, I'll be thinking about my Uncle Brian, the little twinkle in his eye when he was teasing and his fondness for the occasional sherry! Lots of love uncle Brian. Clare xxx
