I have lost someone who I have known and loved as a girl, a woman and a friend, for more than 75 years and to whom I was happily married for very nearly 64 years.The pain is hard but I am lucky to have the knowledge that she died peacefully in her own home and I am very grateful for the tremendous support we had to make her as comfortable as possible in her last few months.
