RICE Gordon Walter
Died on 19th February 2020, aged 94. Retired partner at Gilbert Stephens, Solicitors, Exeter. Loving husband of Jo for over 65 years, father of Andrew, Elizabeth (dec'd), Timothy, John and David, grandfather (Oupa) of 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Private cremation (for family) followed by a Thanksgiving Service where all friends are very welcome on Friday 6th March, St Leonard's Church, Exeter EX2 4NG at 12:30pm.

I first met Gordon in 1984. I was a civil servant working in Chester, and I got a transfer to Exeter. My boss was John Rice, Gordon's brother, Without any pressure of any kind, John suggested that if I needed any help with the move, he would speak to Gordon. I took up his suggestion and met Gordon, who helped us in so many ways with the move. We think of him often, with great affection.
