In loving memory of Jean Marie Taylor who sadly passed away on 11th February 2020 aged 70 years.

Marie and I lived and loved together, we travelled in our van meeting many people and visiting many places including going abroad.. We loved the social life of the various motor caravanning clubs, and after we both retired and settled in Lincolnshire we were rarely found at home

We met in a pub called the Harbour Lights in Cosham fifty years ago this year and have rarely spent time apart from each other.

It would be wonderful if you could come along to say your farewells, but appreciate that this may not be possible for everyone. I hope that you can share some of your memories of Marie, either on this site or there will be some journals available after the service at Woodcocks. Any memories you can share will mean so much to both Myself and Marie's Family.
Thank you John

Jan and Martin had the privilege of being neighbours to Marie , John and the legendary Misty for 16 happy years .
Though Marie was happy to sit back and let John take the lead , being more reserved 😊 , she had a fantastic sense of humour . Marie and John generously allowed us to be step parents to their much loved cat Misty . Having decided to move, I will never forget her kindness when she knocked on the door with a leaving present and I burst in to tears , realising we were losing all the Taylor's . Luckily for us , we stayed in touch . Dearest Marie , rest in peace till we can all down a few bottles as neighbours and friends again xxxx

I first met Marie about 55years ago. We’ve lived and worked together, and shared many happy memories with our dear friend Maire who now lives in Canada.I especially remember the lunchtimes Marie and I spent together at The Harbour Lights, where Marie met John. Unfortunately I cannot attend the funeral as I now live in Spain, but will light a candle in my local church in Moraira, and will be thinking of you all on 27th. March. Marie is now at peace, God bless.
