A last farewell to an old friend I initially knew as MaryRose Tortell from our late teens in Malta playing tennis and hiking with a group through to the decades destiny took us through but always kept in touch.

Fond memories of the time uncle Herbert and Aunt Maryrose stayed with us and we'd come home from school to the smell of beef tea and to be spoilt by Maryrose. I hope Maryrose and uncle Herbert are now up there, reunited and drinking beef tea together. Rest in peace Maryrose. Gill xx
