Throughout all the years that I knew you, you never failed to make me laugh with your wicked sense of humour! I have many happy memories of standing watching our boys playing football and just spending it laughing! You were such a strong family man with your love for Donna and Tom plain for all to see, you will be greatly missed my friend. God bless you ❤️

You will always be in our hearts Ross. I’v never meet someone so infuriating but made me laugh so much at the same time. I shall never forget our fancy dress party that you said “ there is no way I’m dressing up”. I called you a miserable old fart. But true to form, just to wind me up! you turned up with your gorgeous wife Donna, dressed as Richard Gere...officer and a gentleman! Richard Gere eat your heart out!! I laughed till I nearly dropped. Our get together’s will never be the same. A light has gone out in my heart, but a star is shining bright in the sky for you. I will be raising my glass in the summer evenings for you, my very dear friend. Miss you so very very much x

Ross always made our visits to Danbury highly entertaining with his wry humour and perceptive wit. The interact with the team was often beyond funny. He would often have an insightful and irreverent comment about current events. We will miss him.
