In loving memory of Peter Whitbread who sadly passed away on 27th January 2020, who is greatly missed by all his family.

Peter Franks donated in memory of Peter

In life you meet few people that are good and kind, Peter was one of them. With his advice he often tried to straighten my rather obscure thoughts, I already miss this and him. He was my very best Pal . A silence of the heart , whose silence loves and longs, The silence of the heart which sang its songs. While youth and beauty made a summer morn. Silence of love that cannot sing again . I will always remember your loving name. Until we meet again.

What can I say? Like many others, I’ll miss my Dad and losing him has left a big hole in our family. Unfortunately I won’t be at the funeral, but have, at last, taken a piece of advice from him to: “Stay in New Zealand”
It was great that he, and Mum, were able to visit us in New Zealand where he helped me in building a large deck on our first house here, and I have fond memories of our successful fishing trip, bringing home snapper for tea.
He will always be in our thoughts,
With love from Simon, Carole, Jess and Conor.
