I'm so very sorry to hear of Kevin's Passing. I worked with Kevin on a bunch of songs in 2002 and he played fantastic guitar and sang brilliantly on our football anthem. I miss him.

Here I am 2.10 in the morning on Youtube. Its one of my pastimes. My Mother passed away 3 weeks ago and she loved music. This has passed on to me and my Sisters. The Siblings are better than me but I give it my best. Here I am listening to many versions of "Will you go lassie Go". We sang it at my Mothers graveside as she was been lowered .I love your tribute to no doubt a great Man.I love this Song even tough I am a wreck when its played now. My condolences to all the Family. Music lives on so does Kevin.

Kevin was the one of the most wonderful people I ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I am so So grateful that he taught me guitar at BRIT. He was so much more than just a guitar teacher. He helped me through the worst of times and the combination of his open minded joyful approach to teaching music, and his kindness and ability to bring up issues that he seemed to have a superpower to sense combined, was a wonderful therapy for me in my teenage years. He brought so much good into the world and I am so pained to hear of his passing. A talented, kind, gentle and empathetic man.

Kevin - your family, extended family, friends, pupils and muso-pals shared a beautiful occasion with you yesterday. Amongst all the music, singing, stories and reminisces the most powerful emotion was quite simple - love.........

So very sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing. Far too young. I have memories of him practicing, practicing, practicing his guitar in the room off the kitchen in Camden Hill Towers..usually the Doobie Brothers. He would have been about fifteen at the time and totally committed to his art. I send my deepest condolences to Michelle, Callum, Emma, young Kevin, Jill and Martin. May you all find the strength to carry you through this. Sending love..

Kevin taught me so much in such a short amount of time, i'm inspired again, I will keep playing for you, I was so shocked and upset, it only feels like yesterday he and I were jamming away, showing off his technical skills to me, and sharing his cough sweets even if I didn't need them, i'm grateful for him leaving his purple guitar for me to keep learning, he was an inspiration and will be greatly missed by me and many others at the Brit School.

Taken too soon, rest in peace Kevin

I loved him dearly, and I am so saddened to hear of this terrible loss. He was the best parts of humanity. He was the most kind, selfless and supportive music teacher and friend I have ever had. He made me feel so happy, about music and about my life in general. Thank you, Kevin, for blessing my life with the short year you taught me guitar.
