I met Teresa some years ago when she started coming to Mass at St. Swithun Wells until she was unable to come anymore due to her health. When she came to Sunnybank I was asked if I could take her communion. I was very pleased and honoured to do so and I so enjoyed our chats together after the little communion service a truly lovely lady and I miss not visiting her. She is now in God’s warm embrace. Rest in Peace lovely lady.

I came to the UK with Paul and was welcomed into your home with warmth and ease. You excepted me immediately as if I had been many times. Although I only knew you for a brief period of 3 years I will always have you around as of the man your son is, you and your husband Roger have instilled great qualities into Paul and he is a testament to you both. Go well Teresa my love with you. Mitch

I have a lot of fond memories of Teresa from childhood growing up in Shamblehurst lane. A very special lady who always had a smile to share and a true neighbour and friend to my parents Betty & Ivan.
Rest in peace
With love

Teresa will always be lovingly remembered by both me and her granddaughter Katie Carrington O'Shea as a tremendously loving and caring person who gave love and humour to us both. She visited us twice here in NZ and was instantly a hit with all the O:Shea family who always asked after her and prayed for her in her final few weeks. For Katie loosing her Granny has been very tough especially being so far away from her Dad during these difficult times for him. We talk and remember Granny for all the things she loved and brought her joy and made her laugh out loud in her unique way. She had a great sense of humour and was able to tell a great story! I have missed being able to chat and have a decent moan with her these last months when talking was no longer an option for her but I know that she fought her battles with the dignity of the lady she always was. I truly believe that she is in heaven and is at total peace finally. She will always be in our prayers for Katie and I and I know she will be smiling down on us all. My love to all the Carrington boys and the Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. Our thoughts go out to her sister Win and her family and to Pete, Yvonne and Betty who were all such good friends and support for Teresa. She will be missed by so many. All our love Siobhan and Katie xxx
