From our family to yours we bring some very sad news.
Gerry went for a heart procedure on Tuesday 14th January at the Royal Brompton hospital in London which unfortunately with the added complications it was unsuccessful.

Although we could not fault the staff they went above and beyond their NHS duties. He fought his last fight right till the very end. He was so brave and strong. We would like to thank you all in advance for your kindness and support over this very difficult time.

Gerry was a very loved man a loving husband to Sandra and wonderful father and amazing grandad.

Gerry's last wish was to have his body donated to university of Cambridge but unfortunately this was not able to happen so we will be holding a service at the crematorium on the 11th Feb at 4pm.

As a family we ask for no flowers simply a small contribution to go to the royal Brompton hospital.

Then we would like you al to join us to celebrate Gerrys life at the Post office Club.

No words can describe how it feels to loose not only a grandparent but a beloved man. Gerry (my grandad) was one of the greatest men I know. He always made me laugh he would always fix anything I needed fixing with out question. I was so lucky to have got 24 years with you some don’t have any so I’m ever so great full but it’s been a long road grandad and you are at peace now. I love you so much and will NEVER EVER stop loving you till we meet again ❤️
