So glad to have known him, he always made me smile and hugged like he meant it. May his soul rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of knowing John for 20 odd years and from day one was always a person I could rely on for unquestioned support, excellent forethought and a wicked sense of humour. I’ll miss him... X

What a pleasure it has been to know this strong, brave gentleman and his wonderful family. You went through so much with your condition, but you always made sure I left my visit smiling.
You will be missed John x

I loved my brother with all my heart and soul, you see he played an important part in my life he was the man who made me feel safe. When you walked in a room John I knew everything would be ok because you were there. I'm so glad you were my big brother, life will never be the same again, we will all miss you. I'm grateful for the time we have spent together, and the stories you shared with me, the advise you gave me over the years, just for you being you. I have and will always love you x
