Nicole Anne Thomas was born on 12 October 1986 to Michele and Paul Thomas at St Helier Hospital in Carshalton. She was little Sister to Dans and later became big Sister to Gabi. She grew up in Mitcham, although much of her childhood was also spent at her maternal Grandparent’s Caravan in Selsey, and her paternal Grandparent’s villa in Spain. Her childhood and teens were spent dancing to Take That, The Spice Girls, Steps and NSync.

Coley was always a conscientious and keen learner and went to Benedict Primary School and Cranmer Middle School in Mitcham and then onto Ricards Lodge High School in Wimbledon. She continued her education at Coombe Sixth form in New Malden, where she met and fell in love with Phil. They both then went to Portsmouth University, where she obtained a 2:1 undergraduate Psychology Degree and later went on to undertake her P.G.C.E at the University of East London in Stratford. She was intelligent and articulate, with a keen interest in maths which later lead her to obtain her Maths Specialist Teacher Masters.

Phil and Cole were engaged on 31 December 2010 and Coley then became Mrs Turner when they married on 7 June 2012 at a beautiful ceremony at Nonsuch Mansion, Sutton. Ollie was born on 1 September 2014 and was her biggest and proudest achievement. They called themselves the three bears and lived by the motto ‘family is everything’.
She went on to become a much loved Sister to Adam, Ben, Mark and Ellie. She adored her Parsons babies; Zach, Amelie and Finley and was also a proud Auntie to Teddy.

Nicole started as an NQT at Holy Trinity, Wimbledon in 2010, and loved it so much she decided to stay there for the rest of her career. She was an outstanding teacher, who cared deeply about children achieving their potential.

Coley was loving, strong, loyal and kind with a passion for music, dancing, inspirational quotes and family fun. She will be missed dearly by her close family and many life-long friends and colleagues.
