In loving memory of Sheila Patricia Tolley who sadly passed away on 11th DecSheila Patricia Tolley RWA CJN passed peacefully away at her Norwich home on Wednesday 11 December, 2019, after suffering from pancreatic cancer for 11 weeks. Her body will be received into the Julian Cell at 3.00 on Thursday, 2nd January, 2020, and her funeral will take place in St Julian’s Church at 1.30 on Friday, 3rd January, followed by refreshments at the Julian Centre, and cremation at Earlham Crematorium at 4.15. Internment of ashes at 11.00 on Monday, 27th January. Contributions, for the Friends of Julian, in lieu of flowers may be made to Shayne Stork Funeral Services, Norwich. ember 2019
I discovered Sheila Tolley on internet because we have same surname, but I loved her pictures and bought this one. Sad to find she died in 2019, I would like to have messaged her and say how much I like her work.
My in-laws bought this painting from Sheila at Hyde Park in 1971. Every time they look at it they remember that London moment. May she rest in peace.
I understand that this message comes late but I heard only today from the Royal West of England Academy that Sheila Tolley had passed away. I had reached out to them to gain some information as to how I might meet Sheila. I have been showing sheila's wonderful paintings at Thomas henry Gallery here in Newlyn for some time having purchased them at auction. Sheila was a very fine artist and as a gallery owner I much admired her work. Sadly I never got to meet her as I would love to have done.
