In loving memory of Debra Barden who sadly passed away on 27th November 2019.

An amazing, loving, fun, dancing and singing Mum to Milly and Liam, gorgeous Wife to Paul, beautiful Daughter to Pat & Vincent, caring Sister to Mike. Much loved Auntie, Cousin, Niece, Daughter-in-law, Sister-in-law and Friend.

Born 4th March 1977 in Manchester, Debra danced and laughed her way through first childhood and then her teenage years.

Debra studied at Staffordshire Uni where she would meet her beloved Paul, and after a brief long distance relationship she would move to Gravesend, where Debra made her home.

Debra and Paul married in 2004 and became parents to first Milly in 2004 and then Liam in 2007. Both Milly and Liam became Debra's world, she never wasted an opportunity to inspire, encourage, share giggles, hugs and kisses with them.

Debra had always been driven and once Milly and Liam were at school she again challenged herself. Becoming a well loved primary school teacher, with her final position at Cecil Road Primary School. Debra put everything into her teaching as many of her pupils will happily tell you, she was crazy, funny, wacky and inspirational to them all.

Lastly Debra was the best of friends to so many; unique, silly, caring, loving and funny...

She will be loved and missed by us all.

Please share all you memories, pictures and stories of our girl Deb who touched so many lives in so many ways..

We all knew the bubbly Deb
The girl who’d light a room
We all knew the flighty Deb
Who danced to her own tune
We all knew the determined Deb
Who got just what she wanted
From a southern guy to whisk her away
To the teacher she was appointed
We all knew the caring Deb
Who’d make sure we were alright
Who gave us reassurances
And writ the future bright
We all knew the maternal Deb
Who’s kids she so adored
Who’d spend each hour planning
To ensure they were not bored
We all knew the loyal Deb
Who kept her friends forever
Who’d let them in through thick and thin
To shoot the breeze together
We all knew the loving Deb
Who’s smile could make things better
Only I knew my sister Deb
And I will never forget
